NEXTWORKS VOICE GUIDE - DAY & NIGHT MODES

Day and Night Mode


Your phone system must be setup ahead of time with this feature. Email support@nextworks.com if you wish to add this capability.


At least one phone in your office will have the following two buttons. It will be either all phones, a front desk phone, or manager's phone.

  • Night Temp - Enter night mode. Automatically reset back to day mode next business day.
  • Night Perm - Enter night mode. Stay in night mode until disabled.

(These buttons can also be assigned to a softphone.)




Night Time


(green - day, red - night)

This puts the phones in night mode. It goes into this mode automatically at nights and weekends anyway, but you can force it in this mode if want.

The phones will automatically go back into day mode at the next business morning.

Example:

You want to close early for the day but expect to open tomorrow morning as usual. Press this button. There is no more action you need to take as the system will resume normal schedule on its own.




Night Perm


(green - day, red - night)

This forces the phones to stay in night mode until you turn it off.

The phones will NOT automatically go back into day mode at the next business morning.

Example:

Example: You will be closed for a few days.




On a normal workday you want to see BOTH GREEN LIGHTS.
